DescriptionComprises both scanned and original photographs of various activities at Beech Green Nursery School. Most of the photographs have been collated into collages and annotated by Amelia Fysh. Includes images of:
Exhibition held at the Town Hall in 1960.
Children playing both inside and outdoors. Activities include painting, cooking, looking after pets, reading and listening to stories, drawing, dressing up, swimming, gardening, role play and water play.
Construction of the new nursery building and images of the children helping with the move to the new building.
Official opening of the nursery in May 1942, including images of the Mayor Mrs Paterson.
Unveiling of a plaque by the Earl of Buckingham.
