Description	Folder labelled “George Stuart (Burma)”. Contains: Typescript notes from an interview with George Stuart about his memories of Orwell when they were in Burma. Refers to the episode in which Orwell shot an elephant and the novel Burmese days. With manuscript notes about Stuart and the interview. The notes appear to have been transcribed from a tape brought to the Orwell Archive by a 3rd party but there is doubt over the authenticity. Undated.
