It covers details of and all aspects of her life and work in Germany including her trip to Germany from England in 1949, a description of the school (including hand drawn plans), school timetable, school activities, organisation of the school and education it provided, local areas, visit to Denmark, school productions, 1950 General Election, visit to Berlin. Papers such as programmes for events have been pasted into the diaries, including for the fiftieth anniversary of the school.
