Commemorative booklet, with newspaper cutting regarding the work of the school, 1955-1965.

Bourne School, Kuala Lumpur opened in 1955 and closed ten years later in 1965. It provided secondary eduction for 11-18 year olds and in the time that it was open about 5000 students attended the school. The buildings were then used to provide education for pupils aged 11-14 years.

St John's School opened in 1964. When Bourne School closed the following year the school opened four further boarding schools.
