AdminHistory | The Bank was founded in 1862. It took over the Anglo-Portuguese Bank in 1863 and was involved in abortive negotiations for amalgamation with Mau Bank from 1865 to 1867. In 1923 the London and Brazilian Bank was amalgamated with the London and River Plate Bank to form the Bank of London and South America. |
