Description | Bound and loose copies of the 'Educational Outlook and Educational Times' (often referred to as the 'Educational Outlook'), the successor of 'The Educational Times'. It was published monthly and the numbering of the journal followed on from the Times, starting at Vol. 76. The journal was not the organ of any association, but it was distributed free to members of the College of Preceptors until 1929. In 1929 it also dropped the subtitle 'Educational Times'. It was initially edited by Frank Roscoe.
The journal contained notes and comments on education; poems and literary extracts; articles by educationalists; articles on subject areas and educational theory; articles on education abroad; new on educational associations; news on schools, colleges, and universities; personal notes on notable educationalists; and book reviews. |
