Description	Included here is a variety of material including books, journals, and pamphlets which have been accumulated by Schiller over the years. The material illustrates many areas in which he was interested, for instance there is much material relating to the teaching of mathematics and much material about Dartington Hall. Some of the books were written by friends of Schiller and some have been signed by the author.

Arrangement	Apart from the books, which were wrapped in a brown paper package, on arrival to the Institute of Education all of the printed material was scattered throughout the archive. The material has now been brought together to reflect its probable significance to Schiller so, for instance, the journals that published articles by Schiller have been put together and material relating to his time as an HMI is together.
