Description | Lyndall Schiller kept diaries as a record of her daughters' development in their early years. Entries are made regularly, frequently on a daily basis, and include details of weight, physical appearance and health, behaviour, routines and habits, any medical treatments they underwent, first words etc. It is apparent that after the birth of the Schillers' third daughter, Lyris, Lyndall was unwell and so Christian kept that particular diary (Ref: DC/CS/LS/A/5) until his wife had recovered. |
