A scrapbook containing notes, photos and drawings of family and friends, postcards and drawings of holidays, lists of places visited, diaries of visits, poetry, etc. Notes were made by Karl, Egon, Sigrid, Helga and Maria Sharpe Pearson.The book itself covers holidays in the period 1890-1914 (although the index at the front of the book lists holidays until 1916), but ES Pearson has gone back through it in the 1970s and added extra notes and explanatory details. There is a receipt dated 1939 inside the back cover. |
