Description | Black and white photographs of people connected with Danby, Yorkshire. Note on original packaging stated that these were gathered for KP's talk on Yorkshire yeomen at the Leeds Philosophical Society in 1904 (see E S PEARSON/1/5/1/7 for a copy of this lecture). Consists of albumen prints and cabinet card style photographs, copies of portraits and photographic copies of earlier photographs. Only 1 of the sitters is identified (M. Pearson d.22 May 1891) but all are likely to be Pearson ancestors. Some are duplicated in the main series of Pearson family photographs, see E S PEARSON/1/3/4. Also includes a newspaper cutting with a photo of Robart T Pearson, and a sketch of the old Friends' meeting house at The Lion, Blakey Ridge. |
