Description<p>File of letters and notes regarding the memorials to William Pearson, Karl Pearson and Maria Sharpe Pearson at Crambe. Includes a watercolour painting of Crambe church and the Old Manor, also known as Beilby House, which has been cut down (presumably to fit a frame); part of the inscription on the reverse has been lost. Initialled "V M R" [Violet M Ricketts? See E S PEARSON/1/5/3/7]. </p>
<p>Also a rubbing of the inscription of the memorial stone for William Pearson, Fanny Pearson and Maria Sharpe [notes on the reverse that this memorial is in Golders Green?]. Photo of the Old Manor (Beilby House), a newspaper cutting with an article about Crambe from the Yorkshire Gazette, 23 Jan 1909. at Crambe. Correspondence to and from E S Pearson regarding the replacement of the old memorial stone for William Pearson on the North wall of Crambe church with a stone dedicated to both William and Karl Pearson, 1938. With two photographs of the new memorial.</p>
