- FSC conference, Norfolk, February 1976 - this was organised by FSC. They invted other cams and organisations with similar ideas and activities to attend. the idea was to share ideas and support each other in running camps and other activities/
- Recall conference, Institute of Education, London October 1976 - this was a follow-on from the Feburary conference they held in Norfolk.
- Presentation 'Forest School - how it came into being' given at a conference 'Education for Freedom 1989', Leicester. This quotes quite a bit from diary entries by Cuthbert Kirk Rutter, the first headteacher at Forest School boarding school, it talks anout the founding aims and principles of Forest School, no author is given.
