Subjects include plans for the department after Karl Pearson's resignation, university and departmental policies, appointment of staff and research fellows, salaries, publications such as Logarithmetica Britannica, administration of lectures, staff absences, donation of books from the department to the University Library, the Duddeston property (an asset left as part of Galton's estate), correspondence with solicitors regarding the form of declaration, details of estimates for the department and organisation of public lectures. Includes multiple ts drafts of 'Suggested form of declaration for the College Committee and ultimately for the Senate of the University, May 1927' (some annotated) and an annotated ts copy of an agenda of a meeting of the Galton Sub-Committee 31 May 1926.
