DescriptionFolder of general correspondence to and from staff of Galton Laboratory, the office of the Provost and others. Subjects include distribution of the Publications Fund between the Departments of Eugenics and Statistics, proposals and withdrawal of funds for a Readership in Genetics, discussion over the management of Karl Pearson's property, the first quarterly instalment of subsidy by the Eugenics Society in aid of the production of the Annals of Eugenics, offer of sum of £440 to be accepted from Karl Pearson for the establishment of the Karl Pearson Commemoration Fund, grant from the College Committee for the purchase of an adding machine, details of expenditure for the Department of Statistics for the financial year 1933-34, presentation of books to the University Library, approval of the College Committee to increase the Departmental Grant, Miss Powell’s contribution of £250, towards the completion of the Life of Galton, estimated expenditure for the Department of Statistics for 1935/36 and arrangements of access for Rockefeller student, Dr Paul Rider.

Also included is a sub-folder of correspondence and papers relating to a dinner hosted on the occasion of a visit by Professor Winge of Carlsberg Laboratory, Denmark.
