Subjects include general expenditure, students granted permission to work in the Department of Applied Statistics, correspondence regarding the split of museum items between the Department of Eugenics and the Department of Statistics (including ts copy of a list of objects allocated to each department), re-decoration of Anthropometric Room and Museum, Rockefeller Foundation grant for work on serological genetics, permission granted by the College Committee to Dr Morant to deliver lectures at the University of Oxford, arrangements for the Galton Lecture 1939, Fisher's request to keep the computing unit together during the evacuation, letter from Sir Allen Mawer to the Editor of The Times on the effect of an enforced evacuation on the Galton Laboratory, ms minutes of a meeting between Chairman of the College Committee, the Provost and Fisher on 7 October 1934; letters to members of staff banning them from continuing research during the war and urging them to take up service or other work; transferal of human bones to the Wellcome Institute; correspondence to and from Barbara Simpson regarding her position at the laboratory during the war.
