Description | Papers relating to the creation of 'Albinism in Man' (Dulau and Co., 1911 and 1913), comprising data, notes, manuscript drafts of sections and correspondence. The papers were originally housed in a box file labelled 'Albinism in Man Part III', and may comprise data and drafts for a third part of the study that was never published. 'Albinism in Man' parts I, II and IV were published as part of the Draper's Company Research Memoirs series. The material is divided into four groups covering drafts and lectures, notes and tabulated data on the relationship between occurance of albinism and physical characters (hair and eye colour) and mental and physical illness in families, tables on consanguinity in parents' stock, and correspondence on albinism and piebaldism. |
