DescriptionConsists of set of printed cards for the Medical Research Council Human Genetics Committee Consanguinity Enquiry. The study was carried out by Julia Bell to investigate the relationship between consanguinity and cervical cancer. The cards show the full patient name, familial consanguinity status, and diagnosis of illness. Details of patients primarily treated at Marie Curie Hospital, but also at Middlesex Hospital, London Hospital, Manchester Royal Infirmary, King's College Hospital, Royal Hospital in Wolverhampton, Royal Free Hospital, Mount Vernon, Jessops and the Cancer Hospital in Fulham, amongst others. Includes two letters from A Landsborough Thompson to Bell enclosing cards from Aberdeen, 1941. Contains around 1100 data cards.
