AdminHistoryIn October 1920 the Chief Rabbi of the United Hebrew Congregations of the British Empire, Joseph Herman Hertz, embarked on an eleven-month pastoral tour of 42 Jewish communities throughout the British Empire; he was accompanied by Albert Morris Woolf, businessman and Vice-President of the United Synagogue.
