| Description | Folder 1: Occasional notes on religious education.
Folder 2: Divisional (annual) reports on all aspects of education, from nursery to adult education, in the Metropolitan and South Midland Division. These are compiled annually by a member of a Division from the issues and trends reported annually in writing by district inspectors about each district in the division, and after discussion at Divisional meetings.
Folders 3 & 4: Sample (annual) subject reviews on standards of work in curriculum subjects in inspected primary and secondary special education, and teacher education establishments. These are compiled annually by each subject's specialist adviser based on retrieval from HMI notes of visit/meetings and detailed data from Ofsted inspections. Each annual review places the subject findings in the context of issues facing educational establishments, such as staffing, legislation, standards recorded in previous years, and matters of the moment. Sample reviews included are those for: English, Mathematics, Design and Technology, Cross curricular Issues, Environmental Education, Geography, History, Modern Languages, Music and Religious Education. |
