| Description | A notebook of George Greenough's, in which he has copied out in his own handwriting some journal entries of Captain Cornwallis Symonds aboard the Barque Christina, as it lands in northern New Zealand, October 1839. Also copied is a letter from Symonds to his father, dated 2 February 1840. Greenough appears to have only copied the parts which describe the land and the geology of New Zealand. |
