Description | Letters between T C Garland and J B S Haldane about running the one-day school on industrial health through the Labour Research Department (LRD) rather than Marx House. The letter from Garland encloses a draft scheme for the school, and a copy of <i>The Transporter</i> pamphlet with a highlighted article on vitamin C consumption for reference.</p><p><br />
Also contains letters between Haldane and Barbara Ruhemann of Marx House about the conference, including Haldane's views on its successes and failures, and how it might have been improved; and a letter from Haldane to Professor G Thomson about his talk at the conference and plans to organise a smaller meeting. Haldane's initial letter to Ruhemann is typed on the reverse of his reply to Garland. |
