Description	Three letters dated November - December 1949 between Hans Kalmus and Haldane regarding plant species. Note that Kalmus' first letter is addressed to Helen Spurway but appears to have been answered by Haldane. Postcard postmarked 20 March 1950 from Kalmus to Haldane and Spurway showing a picture of Yale University. Three letters dated July 1951 between Kalmus and Haldane regarding Haldane's comments on a paper by Kalmus and Harris. Copy of a letter from Haldane to Kalmus dated 26 May 1953 in which Haldane criticises Kalmus' manuscript book and advises him to pursue a career in experimental biology rather than human genetics.
