Description
A range of both educational materials and examples of school work comprising -
1. Materials from Wayland School, Norfolk
- two handwritten teacher's work books recording class work (1979-1980 and 1984-1985)
- History Department documentation and teaching materials, and CSE exam papers, mark schemes and examiner's reports (1978-1984) with examples of assessed school
work
- GCSE History coursework assignments (1987-1988) including a local history study of Gressenhall Workhouse with associated examples of school work
- a DVD of Year 9 pupils undertaking investigations (1985) and a DVD documenting a school visit to a workhouse (1986)
2. In-service training materials from Staffordshire County Council (1989-1991), including advice for secondary and primary schools on National Curriculum implementation
3. Photos of the National Curriculum Council History Task Group KS4 Sub Group (1990)
Includes children's writing samples and a permissions email.

Access to files containing school work is restricted due to the Data Protection Act but may be granted on application to the archivist and on completion of a form agreeing to anonymise the research undertaken. Update 14.05.2025 KJ: this material is in folders 3 and 6, so folders 3 and 6 are Restricted Access.
A few pages listing the marks of students were removed from folder 4 and placed in a separate folder - folder 10.
