Title | Petition from Jean Henry De Bérenger, of Erlang to [Frederick II] King of Prussia |
Date | 25 Apr 1786 |
Description | Asking the King's permission to write to Spiridon Lusi, Prussian Ambassador to Great Britain, so that he can intercede on his behalf with the British court. He would like the King to write to Lusi to make sure that the Ambassador does not ignore his request. All the letters to the British Crown and Government went unanswered so Jean Henry De Bérenger hopes that asking a foreign ambassador to take up his cause will be beneficial to his case. He is asking the British government for compensation for the lands he has lost in Georgia and South Carolina. |
