Description | Jean Baptiste Mallet, conseiller du roi in Calais, explains that he had received a parcel from a young woman who came to his home one evening. The parcel contained the will of Louis De la Balle, tanner in Guînes, who left France for Britain. A copy of the will was made in full. Louis De la Balle explains that he has left his will with a friend and he wishes for it to be read in the presence of his son Noé and his son-in-law, Pierre Le Noir. The will is dated 27 April 1745. |
