Date | 6 Aug 1745 |

He mentioned that he had just received bad news as two French vessels coming from Lima in Peru had been intercepted by the English. After a six-hour long battle, both French Captains had been killed and François was set to loose the merchandise he was transporting on the ships. He finally asks Noé to pay Captain Clerebutt 24 Guineas. Includes a note at the end from Captain Clerebutt acknowledging the receipt of the money. |
