AdminHistoryJames Fremeaux, who built and lived at Kingsthorpe Hall, Northamptonshire, had a son Peter John Fremeaux whose daughter and heiress Susannah married in 1799 Thomas Reeve Thornton. Daniel Fremeaux, a brother of James, was a merchant in Smyrna. They were related to the De Hochepied family in Holland, and were presumably of Huguenot descent.
