DescriptionSusanne Grandsar, a 78 year old widow, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. According to the petition, her parents Jacques Blariaut and Louise Trifié, were born in Wallons, in France. They were presumably Walloons from Wallonia, rather than French. Susanne suffers from several conditions, including poor eyesight so can no longer work in the silk industry. All her six children are poor so cannot provide any financial support. The petition is signed by Louis Bonnet, Pastor; C Daussy; Charles Batter and bears Susanne Grandsar's mark.
