She was born in London but her father, Jean Lheureux, was originally from Luneray, in Normandy. She suffers from rheumatism and poor eyesight so can no longer look after herself. The petition is signed by Jean Lemaistre, who confirms that Jeanne had been in his employment for twenty years. She was a good employee but is now in no condition to keep working. |
