| Description | Elizabeth La Comber, a 73 year old woman, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. She was born on 9 August 1772. Her parents were John Reeves and Elizabeth Gramault. The latter's grandfather, James Gramault (Jacques Gramault) was buried from the French Hospital about 63 years prior to the petition being made. Her aunt, Mary Gramault, also died 20 year previously, presumably at the French Hospital (possibly Mary Grimault). Elizabeth is a weaver but can no longer work due to poor eyesight and age-related conditions. The petition bears her mark and is also signed by Thomas Le Sage.
