TitleSarah Farrow, née Floyd
Date11 May 1842
DescriptionSarah Farrow, a 62 year old widow, requests to be admitted to the Hospital. She was born on 10 December 1780. Her parents were John Floyd and Mary Huet, a member of the French Church of London. Mary's father was a Protestant from Bray, in Normandy and her two cousins, Louisa and Anne Sai, or Say, are currently residents of the French Hospital. Sarah used to keep a small shop in Kingsland Road, selling coal and wood. She now does some slop-work but can no longer continue as she suffers from poor eyesight. The petition is signed by Sarah Farrow herself and Rob Davies.
At the back, Louisa Say states that she has known the petitioner for several years since she occasionally lived at her grandfather's, who married Sarah Farrow's mother.
Petition n. 1275.
