AdminHistory | Although so entitled, this book contains only Minutes of the Building Committee established on 14 June 1855 to consider the expediency of rebuilding the Hospital either on its original site or on a new one; plus the minutes, 1856-1857, of a committee for dealing with necessary repairs to the existing building. The latter committee having reported on 18 April 1857 that the sume required for complete repair and improvement would be unacceptably large, it was resolved by an Extraordinary Court on 2 May to obtain a site for building at Victoria Park, Hacney, in 1865. The minutes deal also with post-occupation troubles, and end in December 1865.
