AdminHistory | The London Huguenot congregation known as L'Eglise des Grecs or the Old French Church in Soho, which had absorbed its mother church of the Savoy in the 1730s, did not finally cease to exist until 1924 (see Proceedings of the Huguenot Society, vol. XVI, p. 144 and, vol. XXII, p. 524); but the Savoy Church Poor Fund had in 1908 been transferred to the French Hospital and has since been distributed in the same way as the Hospital's other 'out-gift' funds. The petitions and a few miscellaneous papers listed were passed on by the Trustees. |
