Description83 folios, numbered 1-55, [57]-85. Cover title: 'Livre des Actes de l'Eglise de Leicesterfields commencé le 12e 7bere 1729. 2'. There is also a paste-on title in a later hand. In front of the ms. is pasted an index of names and an abstract of contents. Inserted between folios 71 an 72 is a letter dated 12 July 1769 from the Consistory of the Swiss church relating to a project for a union between the two churches.

AdminHistoryThe church was first established in Glasshouse Street, Piccadilly, probably in October 1687. The congregation moved to Leicester Fields in Easter 1693.The church was closed and the congregation moved with Le Quarré in 1786. The building was taken over for use as a Congregational chapel and was known as the Orange Street Chapel. The registers have been printed in William and Susan Minet, eds., 'Registers of the churches of the Tabernacle Glasshouse Street and Leicester Fields 1688-1783', Huguenot Society Quarto Series, vol. XXIX (London , 1926).
