DescriptionBegins: 'A list of the sums proposed to be delivered to severall French Protestants for their relief establishment or maintenance'.
The authority to pay given to the Treasurer John Braguier was approved and signed by five of the Commissioners appointed under the brief: the Earl of Craven, the Earl of Nottingham, Wm. Turner, Nic. Stratford (the Dean of St. Asaph) and Tho. Firmin, and by Charles Mossom (their Clerk). Categories of relief: several ministers, pensions for 6 months; persons of good quality; of middle quality; children; lame, weak, crippled. Other categories, block grants: the sick, children at Ware, and finally a year's wages of the 'officer yt keeps ye Intelligence Office for placing people'.
