| Description | The title on the spine of this book is 'Mission Accounts'. The volume had been previously used for a rough account, 1856-1858, by some other society or fund, and was afterwards used by an officer of the Norman Society. Pages were originally numbered up to 304, but many have been torn out; others are blank. Page 297 is headed 'Abstract of return for the National Debt Office for 1872', and page 303 'Abstract of Return sent in November 1860'. The general draft return is followed by a list of members admitted at dates from 1795 to 1885, with ages and occupations; dates and sometimes causes of death have been added up to 1865. |
