AdminHistory | At their meeting held 8 June 1976 the Academic Board set up the Working Party on Mature Student Preparatory Courses to examine the case for providing a model course for adoption by colleges associated to the Institute of Education; to examine, in consultation with Thomas Huxley and Maria Grey/Borough Road Colleges, their proposals for a preparatory course for mature students seeking admission to University of London degree courses; and to advise the Chairman of the Academic Board upon the nature of the statement to be made to the University Special Entrance Board about the suitability of the two proposed courses for mature students who do not possess normal university entrance requirements. |
