AdminHistory | The Sub-Committee on Teaching Practice reported to the Committee of Principals. It was established to 'consider the whole problem of teaching practice arrangements, with special reference to the coming expansion of training college work and long term policy'. Members were asked to prepare a report for discussion with the Conference of Local Education Authorities (see IE/2/LEA). The 'whole problem' was considered at a meeting held in December 1958, where they decided to ask the constituent colleges for information on their current teaching practice arrangements to try to form a picture of the present situation. |
