| Description | This report reviewed the present pattern of in-service training, including the Diploma courses provided by the Institute, other courses provided within the Institute area, courses provided by Local Education authorities, courses provided by professional and subject associations, the activities of the Institute Teachers Centre and the B.Ed. degree in-service provision. It examined the machinery for the co-ordination of courses and needs and the dissemination of information and considered needs as expressed by teachers related to national and service considerations, and made a 'Statement of principles governing the provision of adequate facilities for in-service training.' |
