| AdminHistory | This working party was chaired by Dr. L.W.H. Payling and the Secretary was Mr D. Aston. Its role was to undertake an enquiry into the existing pattern of diploma courses and in-service training provided by the Institute (both in the Central Institute and in the constituent colleges) and to make recommendations concerning improvements in the current policy. The working party circulated a questionnaire on in-service training to LEAs; the Institute of Education Teacher Centre; the Extra-Mural Department of London University; London universities; university institutes; local polytechnics and professional bodies. |
