| AdminHistory | This working party was chaired by Professor R.S. Peters and its secretary was Miss I.C. McDonald. Its role was to investigate the existing pattern of Advanced Studies in Education (including the Academic Diploma) as provided by the Institute of Education and the constituent colelges 'and to enquire into the relationship between the work undertaken and the schools, the Colleges and Departments of Education', and to make recommendations concerning improvements in the current policy. Questionnaires were sent out to Heads of Advanced Studies Departments; Colleges of Education and students. A report on provision for research in the Institute of Education library was also completed. |
