AdminHistory | These committees/groups appears to have been the successor to the Courses Sub-Committees and reported to the In-Service Sub-Board. It met once a year to discuss proposed courses to send a list to be approved by the sub-board. The members of the committee were drawn from the Institute and other in-service teacher training providers in London. Initially called the University Centre for Teachers Advisory Committee, it had two committees looking at courses for primary and secondary school teachers. The committees were renamed the INSET Office advisory groups in 1987 and reported to the newly formed INSET Advisory Committee. |
