AdminHistory | The meetings of the London INSET providers began at the instigation of the Institute in 1987 in response to changes in the way the government funded in-service training for teachers. The main objectives of the committee were to discuss future funding and fees for the courses and credit transfer between different providers. In 1990 the committee was open to other providers in the South East region and was renamed South East Region INSET providers in Higher Education (SERIPHE). |
