Description	Papers regarding a one-year course for senior international students taught at the Institute of Education, entitled ‘Diploma in English Educational Thought and Practice’. The course was instituted in 1947, but discontinued in 1961. These papers consist of: - memos and circulars regarding the course; - official leaflets outlining the course; - statistics about the nationalities of students; - timetables and programmes for the course; - exam papers; - lists of students on the course, and brief information about their background.
