AdminHistory | The Centre was launched in January 1997 by the Institute in partnership with headteachers, business sponsers and the Government Office for London.It's focus was the professional development of school leaders, including headteachers, senior staff and chairs of governors.
The London Strategic Unit (LSU) was established by the Learning and Skills Council and London Development Agency. It worked with partners to create a culture which ensured the learning and skills sector attracted, retainted and developed a workforce able to respond to literacy, numeracy and language needs of learners. |
