Nigerian Author of first novel in Yoruba and one of the first in any African Language,1939. Major influence on African writers, esp. Wole Soyinka and Amos Tutuola. There are many articles and book chapters about Daniel Fagunwa which are available via UCL Explore. The English translation of his novel 'Forest of a Thousand Daemons: A Hunter's Saga' was translated by Wole Soyinka.
