Description	Files LILLY/A/7-9 contain papers regarding Malcolm Lilly's membership of the Institute of Chemical Engineers (1979), including correspondence and papers regarding Lilly's effors to secure membership of the institution. His definitive election as a Member of the Institute was only confirmed in 1979, the year of his election to a personal chair at UCL. He was transferred to the class of Fellow in 1980.
