AdminHistoryBorn 1763, Stampfen, Hungary; at the age of seventeen he entered the service of the Jewish hospital in Vienna, became superintendent, 1799, during the war with the Turks appointed superintendent of the hospital in the fortress of Leopoldstadt, then director of the hospital of Semlin; received from Emperor Francis the gold medal of honour and from the Emperor of Russia the Order of Merit 1813; manager of the military magazine of munitions, 1814; chief of the board of health of the Rossau, a suburb of Vienna, 1830; died 1842.
