DescriptionMinute fragment from Euripides' Medea, parchment. From a codex, main body text in brown in a rounded uncial hand. There is text on the recto and verso, but the recto text is less legible.

ἔασον αὐτούς, ὦ τάλαν, φεῖσαι τέκνω]⸢ν⸣
ἐκεῖ μεθ᾽ ἡμῶν ζῶντες εὐφρανοῦ]σί σε.
μὰ τοὺς παρ᾽ Ἅιδῃ νερτέρους ἀλά]στορας,
οὔτοι ποτ᾽ ἔσται τοῦθ᾽ ὅπως ἐχ]θροῖς ἐγὼ
παῖδας παρήσω τοὺς ἐμοὺς καθυ]⸢β⸣ρίσαι.
πάντως σφ᾽ ἀνάγκη κατθανεῖν:] ἐπεὶ ⸢δ⸣[ὲ χρή,
