Description	A draft, unbound manuscript for a book entitled ‘Students' Appraisal of School and the Transition to University’, written by James W.B. Douglas and Jean M. Ross. Typed, with annotations. This research resulted from data gathered on students in the MRC National Survey of Health and Development (NSHD). A note in the files in this subseries says that this book was intended to follow on from where the authors left off in their earlier book 'All Our Future' (published 1968) although this follow-up book was never published.
